Hikmət Hacıyev is the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and the head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs within the Presidential Administration. He has played a significant role in shaping Azerbaijan's foreign relations and policies, particularly in strengthening ties with Turkey. Recently, he visited Ankara, where he met with Fəxrəddin Altun, the head of the Communication Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration, to discuss bilateral cooperation in media and communication, as well as to exchange views on global and regional issues.
