Hilde Bjørhovde

Hilde Bjørhovde was a dedicated cultural journalist for Aftenposten, whose career spanned nearly 45 years. Starting as a summer intern in 1980, she became a respected figure in Norwegian journalism, known for her enthusiasm and commitment to quality reporting. Hilde was not only an advocate for classical culture but also actively engaged with the community, mentoring younger colleagues and contributing to various editorial departments. She had a passion for singing, participating in choirs during her free time, and loved outdoor activities like skiing. Sadly, she passed away at the age of 66 due to a rapid decline in health caused by an aggressive form of thyroid cancer.
