Himangi Sakhi Maa

Himangi Sakhi Maa is a transgender Kathavachak and a vocal advocate for the rights and recognition of the transgender community in India. She has gained prominence for her efforts to raise awareness about the challenges faced by transgender individuals, as well as her critiques of societal norms regarding gender identity. Recently, she has been in the news for expressing concerns over Mamta Kulkarni's appointment as Mahamandaleshwar in the Kinnar Akhada, questioning the motivations behind it and calling for greater scrutiny of Kulkarni's past.
