Höfler

Höfler is a seasoned firefighting commander who served as the incident commander during the tragic train collision in Bad Aibling, Germany, on February 9, 2016, which resulted in twelve fatalities and numerous injuries. With a long history of service, he has helped in multiple rescue operations and has since dedicated himself to educating others on preparing for such emergencies, delivering around 150 lectures worldwide. Despite the psychological toll from the incident, he continues to advocate for professionalism in emergency response and has engaged with the media to share the lessons learned from the disaster.
