Homi Jehangir Bhabha
Homi Jehangir Bhabha was a prominent Indian nuclear physicist and the founding director of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Born on October 30, 1909, he played a crucial role in establishing India's nuclear program and is often called the father of Indian nuclear science. His life was tragically cut short when he died in a plane crash on January 24, 1966, aboard Air India Flight 101, which collided with Mont Blanc due to miscommunication with air traffic control.
