Hooshmand Aghili Mehr

Hooshmand Aghili Mehr was a renowned Persian singer and musician born on July 25, 1937, in Isfahan, Iran. Encouraged by his father, he pursued formal music education, studying under notable instructors such as Taj Esfahani and Ismail Mehrtash. Aghili became known for his contributions to Persian classical music, with popular songs including 'Saqi Nameh' and 'Farda To Miayi.' He moved to the United States in 1977 and continued to influence the music scene until his passing, which was recently reported due to his illness.
