Horst Krause

Horst Krause was a celebrated German actor best known for his role as the lovable village policeman in the crime series 'Polizeiruf 110.' Born in 1941 near Danzig, he grew up in Brandenburg and was known for his comedic talent from a young age. After training as a machinist, he pursued acting, studying at the State Drama School in Berlin. Krause's career spanned several decades, including performances in various theaters and television series during and after the East German era. He gained widespread recognition in the 1990s for his role in the comedy 'Wir können auch anders...' and became a beloved figure in German television. Krause passed away at the age of 83 in a retirement home in Teltow, near Berlin.
