Hosoanay Natana

Hosoanay Natana is a local fisherman from southern Madagascar who has voiced concerns about the overexploitation of fish stocks and the impact of industrial trawlers on small-scale fishing communities. He now travels further out to sea to secure viable catches, reflecting the challenges faced by the Vezo people as they adapt to changing marine environments.
