Hou Wei

Hou Wei is a prominent figure in the aviation industry, having served as the Chairman of Hong Kong Airlines from 2018 to 2023. During his tenure, he adeptly navigated the challenges posed by the bankruptcy restructuring of the airline's major shareholder, HNA Group, as well as the impacts of social unrest and the global COVID-19 pandemic. Under his leadership, Hong Kong Airlines underwent significant restructuring and successfully secured funding, leading to a debt restructuring and the continuation of its operating license. Recently appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Greater Bay Airlines, Hou brings extensive organizational management experience and a global perspective to the role.
