Houdhayfa al-Kahlout

Houdhayfa al-Kahlout, also known as Abou Obeida, was a prominent spokesperson for the military wing of Hamas, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, since 2002. He gained international attention for his role in the conflict between Hamas and Israel, particularly for announcing the unprecedented attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. Al-Kahlout was reported killed by Israeli forces during the ongoing military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in significant casualties and destruction.
