Houman Jokar

Houman Jokar is an Iranian wildlife activist dedicated to the conservation of the critically endangered Asiatic cheetah in Iran. He was previously arrested in 2018 along with other environmentalists on charges widely condemned as baseless, and he has spent considerable time advocating for wildlife protection despite facing imprisonment.
