Hsiao Yi-ching

Hsiao Yi-ching is the head of the Election Study Center at National Chengchi University in Taiwan. She specializes in political behavior and has contributed to understanding public sentiments regarding democratic processes in Taiwan. Recently, she reported on a survey indicating strong support among Taiwanese for a legislature led by the opposition and for the recall system to remove elected officials deemed incompetent.
