Huang Shuxian

Huang Shuxian is a professor in the School of Chinese Language and Literature at Capital Normal University, where he specializes in ancient Chinese linguistics. His research focuses on the vocabulary of Old Chinese, particularly its origins and developments spanning over 3,200 years, from the pre-Qin period to the early 3rd century. Recently, he has been in the news for his contributions to the study of ancient Chinese vocabulary, emphasizing the historical significance of the Sino-Tibetan language family.
