Hugo Farias

Hugo Farias is a Brazilian athlete who gained international recognition for completing an extraordinary challenge of running 366 consecutive marathons, spanning a total of 15,569 kilometers. At the age of 45, he transitioned from a successful career in technology management to pursue this ambitious goal, driven by a desire to inspire others and explore the limits of human endurance. His journey, which began in 2019 with minimal running experience, was meticulously planned and involved close collaboration with medical professionals to monitor his heart health throughout the endeavor. Farias completed his challenge on August 28, 2023, and has since authored a book about his experiences and is planning further adventures, including running the length of the Americas.
