Hugo Koblet

Hugo Koblet, born on March 21, 1925, in Zurich, was a legendary Swiss cyclist who won the Giro d’Italia in 1950 and the Tour de France in 1951, making him one of the most celebrated figures in cycling history. Despite his successes, Koblet struggled with life after racing, facing financial difficulties and personal challenges that ultimately led to his untimely death in 1964.
