Hugo Moran Fernandez is the Secretary of State for the Environment in Spain, and he was recently in the news for testing positive for the presence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in his blood, as part of a joint initiative led by Denmark to assess the contamination levels of these 'forever chemicals' among European leaders.
