Hugo Villa Smythe

Hugo Villa Smythe is the director of the Filmoteca of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a prominent film manager and producer. He has been actively involved in the preservation and restoration of Mexican cinema, recently leading efforts to locate ten lost films that are significant to the country's cinematic heritage.
