Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çetin, Akdeniz Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi Biyoloji Bölümü'nde öğretim üyesidir. Tarımda ve orman ekosistemlerinde zararlı böcek türleri üzerine uzmanlaşmış olup, özellikle turunçgil uzun antenli böceği ile ilgili yaptığı araştırmalarla dikkat çekmektedir.
