Hüseyin Topçu

Hüseyin Topçu was a prominent Turkish politician and a founding member of the AK Party's Pendik district organization. Born in 1957 in the Çayeli district of Rize, he began his political career with the Refah Party in 1983. Over the years, he served in various significant roles, including as a member of the Pendik AK Party's founding board and as a municipal council member. Topçu was elected to the Pendik Municipal Council in the 2019 local elections and continued to serve as the Deputy Group Chairman until his passing in 2023. His contributions to local governance and the AK Party were recognized by many, including the Istanbul provincial chairman and the Minister of Justice, who offered condolences upon his death.
