Huynh Cong Ut

Huynh Cong Ut, commonly known as Nick Ut, is a Vietnamese-American photographer renowned for capturing the iconic image of 'The Terror of War,' depicting a severely burned Vietnamese girl, Kim Phuc, fleeing a napalm attack during the Vietnam War in 1972. This photograph won him the Pulitzer Prize and the World Press Photo award, significantly influencing public perception of the Vietnam War. Recently, the World Press Photo organization suspended his credit for the image amid ongoing debates over the true authorship, although the photograph's historical significance remains undisputed.
