Hyuk-Woon Kwon

Hyuk-Woon Kwon is the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Senegal, representing Korea's interests in West Africa. At a recent cultural showcase marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and The Gambia, he emphasized the strong bilateral relationship based on mutual respect, peace, and democracy. Ambassador Kwon highlighted Korea's ongoing support for The Gambia's peacebuilding and transitional justice efforts, as well as initiatives aimed at improving food security and educational opportunities for Gambians.
