Iðunn Eiríksdóttir is the mother of Bryndís Klara Birgisdóttir, a 17-year-old girl who tragically lost her life after a knife attack during Menningarnótt. In the wake of her daughter's death, Iðunn, along with her husband, established a memorial fund in Bryndís's name, aiming to channel their grief into something positive and to help prevent similar tragedies in the future.
