Ian Armstrong is a former sales lead at the financial technology consultancy Bankhawk, where he was employed from March 2017 until his redundancy in March 2024. He played a crucial role in generating significant revenue for the company, reportedly bringing in three of its largest clients and generating over a million euros in sales by the third quarter of 2023. Following his termination, Armstrong successfully claimed €64,000 in withheld commission based on a complaint under the Payment of Wages Act 1991.
