Ian Brossart

Ian Brossart is a French politician who served as a councilor in the Paris City Hall under Mayor Anne Hidalgo for nearly a decade. He is currently a senator and co-chair of the municipal communist group in the Paris City Council. Brossart has been a prominent advocate for social housing policies, notably the 30% rule that mandates a proportion of new housing developments to be designated as social housing, which has significantly increased the availability of affordable homes in Paris.
