Ian McMaster

Ian McMaster is a retired business executive and an enthusiastic naturalist based in Queensland, Australia. He has dedicated the past seven years to studying and documenting the diverse moth species on his property atop Mount Mellum, where he has encountered over 2,000 species. McMaster is particularly focused on the elusive southern pink underwing moth, which he has only spotted once, and he actively works to rehabilitate the land into a recognized nature refuge.
