Ianis

Ianis is a 17-year-old hero from Mangalia, Romania, who gained recognition for his bravery after rescuing a 21-year-old woman from drowning at Costineşti beach. Raised by his grandparents after experiencing a difficult childhood, Ianis has been working since the age of 14 to support his family, which includes his siblings. Despite his modesty and reluctance to seek praise, he dreams of leaving Romania to work as a scaffolder in Belgium, where he hopes to build a better future for himself and his family.
