Ibrahim Hawija

Ibrahim Hawija is a former air force intelligence chief in Syria, having served from 1987 to 2002. Recently, he has gained media attention after being captured by the security forces of the new regime, where he is accused of being involved in numerous killings during the presidency of Hafez al-Assad, Bashar al-Assad's father.
