criminal Mexico

Ignacio Coronel Villareal, also known as 'Nacho Coronel', was a prominent Mexican drug lord and key figure in the Sinaloa cartel. He became one of the leading traffickers of methamphetamine in Mexico during the 2000s and was known for his sophisticated drug trafficking operations. Coronel was influential in the cartel's expansion and was considered a close associate of Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán. His reign ended when he was killed in a shootout with the Mexican military in July 2010, leading to a power vacuum that contributed to the rise of rival cartels, including the Jalisco New Generation Cartel co-founded by his former associate, El Mencho.
