Igor Diego

Igor Diego is the director of the Directorate for the Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime in Brazil. He gained media attention due to his involvement in the investigation of a tragic case where a mother confessed to asphyxiating her 15-day-old baby, Ana Beatriz, and hiding the body in a closet. Diego was instrumental in revealing inconsistencies in the mother's multiple accounts regarding the disappearance of her child, ultimately leading to her confession and subsequent charges of homicide and concealment of a corpse.
