Igor Lukashuk

Igor Lukashuk is the director of the Belarusian Lyceum in Hajnówka, Poland, where he has dedicated his efforts to preserving and promoting the Belarusian language and culture among students. Under his leadership, the school has maintained a rich tradition of educational excellence, with around 90 percent of students currently studying Belarusian. Lukashuk emphasizes the importance of language as a key component of cultural identity, despite facing unresolved formal issues with Poland's Ministry of Education regarding the status of minority language schools.
