Igor Tulchinskiy is a Belarusian-American entrepreneur and hedge fund manager, known for founding WorldQuant, a quantitative trading firm that employs advanced algorithms for statistical arbitrage in the financial markets. Born in Minsk in 1966, he emigrated to the United States with his family at a young age, where he developed a passion for computing and finance. After earning degrees in computer science and an MBA from Wharton, he worked at AT&T Bell Labs and Millennium Management before establishing WorldQuant in 2007. Tulchinskiy has successfully integrated artificial intelligence into his trading strategies, aiming to enhance the firm's performance while managing around $10 billion in assets. He is also a philanthropist, having invested significantly in education through WorldQuant University and other initiatives.
