Iguemota Alcántara serves as the assistant general secretary of the Cámara de Cuentas, the Dominican Republic's auditing body. Recently, she was mentioned in the news due to her comments regarding the alleged verbal mistreatment of employees by Janel Ramírez Sánchez, the president of the Cámara de Cuentas.
