II Garegin

II Garegin is the current Catholicos of All Armenians, the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. His leadership has been marked by controversy, particularly in relation to the Armenian government's tensions with the church. Recently, he has been accused by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of violating his vow of celibacy, which has intensified the ongoing conflict between the church and the government.
