Ike Turner Sr.
Ike Turner Sr. was a prominent American musician, songwriter, and record producer known for his role in the development of rock and roll and rhythm and blues. He is best recognized as the former husband of Tina Turner and for his work with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, which produced numerous hits in the 1960s and 1970s. Despite his musical success, his life was marred by personal struggles, including battles with substance abuse, which ultimately led to his death in 2007.
