Ilandari Deva Tharindu Dhanushka Gunawardena was a 24-year-old resident of Mandakanda in Karandeniya, whose mysterious death was reported after he attended a wedding ceremony at a hotel in the Batapola area. His body was discovered in a secluded area near the Amba Gaha Handiya jetty shortly after the event.
