Ilhom Idirov has recently been appointed as the new head of the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Interior Ministry, taking over from Muhammad Odilov. Previously, he served as the head of the Administrative Practice Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and has held leadership roles in traffic safety management in the Kashkadarya and Syrdarya regions. His appointment comes at a time when the city is focusing on reducing road traffic fatalities and improving traffic safety measures.
