Iliana González

Iliana González is the Executive Director of the Association of Private Port Terminals of Ecuador (Asotep), an organization established in 1993 that represents port terminal owners and operators. Under her leadership, Asotep has focused on enhancing the infrastructure and technology of Ecuador's private ports, contributing significantly to the nation's economy by facilitating around 50% of the country's import and export cargo. González has been a prominent advocate for the development of Guayaquil's port facilities, emphasizing the importance of modernization and investment to maintain competitiveness in the regional maritime industry.
