Ilyas Aydin

Ilyas Aydin, also known by his aliases 'Abu Ubaidah' and 'Amir Istanbul', is a prominent figure within the Islamic State (ISIS) organization. He is wanted internationally for his alleged involvement in the 2015 Ankara train station bombing, which resulted in numerous casualties. Recent reports indicate that he, along with approximately 2,000 other Turkish ISIS members, is being transferred from detention facilities in northern Syria to Iraq as part of a coordinated security and judicial effort involving Baghdad, Washington, and Ankara.
