Immaculate Thambi Njambi

Immaculate Thambi Njambi is the founder of Muungano Daycare in Mathare, Nairobi, a community-led initiative that emerged from a self-help group in 2007 to provide childcare for families unable to afford house help. Through her work, she champions the importance of accessible childcare amid significant challenges such as limited space and food insecurity, while advocating for better support and recognition for caregivers in Kenya.
