
Imran Khwaja
Imran Khwaja is an Australian cricket administrator and the Deputy Chair of the International Cricket Council (ICC). He has been an advocate for the development and inclusion of cricket in Afghanistan, especially in light of the challenges faced by Afghan women cricketers following the Taliban's resurgence in 2021. Under his supervision, the ICC has initiated programs to support displaced Afghan women in returning to the sport, facilitating opportunities for them to engage with international players and attend major cricket events.
