Imrich Vanek

Imrich Vanek (1931 – 2015) was a notable Slovak visual artist and sculptor, primarily recognized for his work in ceramics. Since the late 1960s, he created numerous large-format ceramic walls, reliefs, and paintings, often in collaboration with architects under a program that allocated part of the budget for public buildings to the creation of new artworks. His creations have received multiple accolades and are included in collections both domestically and internationally.
