Inês Viegas Oliveira

Inês Viegas Oliveira is a talented illustrator and author known for her innovative approach to children's literature. She combines her background in Physics and Mathematics with her passion for illustration, having completed a postgraduate course in illustration at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. Her recent book, 'Contas-me?', explores numbers through captivating images and imaginative narratives, earning her recognition and selection for the prestigious Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition in multiple years. In 2023, her first book, 'O Duelo', won both the Prémio Nacional de Ilustração and the Prémio Revelação at the Bienal de Ilustração de Guimarães, solidifying her reputation in the literary and artistic community.
