Ingia Mtenga

Ingia Mtenga is the head teacher of Temeke Secondary School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She has voiced concerns about the severe shortage of science laboratories and resources at her school, which serves over 2,600 students, nearly half of whom are in science streams. Mtenga described recent support from the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board as a 'timely lifeline' that will improve the teaching and learning environment in science education.
