Ingolf Gabold

Ingolf Gabold was a prominent Danish television producer and drama chief at DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) from 1999 until his retirement in 2012. He was instrumental in bringing critically acclaimed series such as 'Forbrydelsen' (The Killing), 'Borgen', and 'Nikolaj og Julie' to the screen, significantly shaping Danish drama. Gabold's expertise led to numerous awards, including Emmys for his productions. A trained composer, he transitioned from music to television, leaving a lasting legacy in the Danish media landscape before his passing at the age of 83.
