Inocencio IV was a pope of the Roman Catholic Church who served from 1243 to 1254. Born as Sinibaldo Fieschi in Genoa, Italy, he was a prominent figure in the establishment of the Order of the Servants of Mary (Servites), which was approved during his papacy.
