Iolanda Maússe

Iolanda Maússe is a Mozambican émigré who moved to the United States at a young age to pursue higher education, beginning at West Virginia University in 1997. After completing her studies, she sought further academic growth with a master's degree in Rural Development from the University of Alaska. Throughout her career, she has lived in multiple U.S. states due to her work assignments and is an advocate for the importance of migration in achieving personal goals. She remains connected to her Mozambican roots, actively participating in the community and encouraging others to embrace opportunities abroad.
