Iosif Langbard

Iosif Langbard was a prominent Soviet architect known for his innovative designs that embodied the principles of constructivism. He gained recognition for winning a nationwide competition in 1929 for his project of the House of Government in Minsk, which was completed between 1930 and 1934. His work often integrated monumental sculpture, exemplified by the Lenin monument he designed for the same building.
