Iosif Lazaridis

Iosif Lazaridis is a research associate in the department of human evolutionary biology at Harvard University, known for his work on ancient DNA samples from Mesopotamia and the Levant. He has contributed to discussions on the genetic history of ancient civilizations, including the ancestry of early Egyptians, and his insights were highlighted in relation to the recent findings of the first sequenced genome from ancient Egypt.
