Irena Prelević

Irena Prelević is a career diplomat and the newly appointed advisor to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, focusing on foreign policy. She holds a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica, as well as a master's degree in European Studies, achieving an impressive average grade of 9.8. Since starting her career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2008, Prelević has worked in Montenegrin embassies in Germany and Croatia, and has held various positions including Director of the Directorate for Eurasia. Her extensive experience includes enhancing Montenegro's diplomatic relations through communication, consultations, and high-level visits, and she is fluent in English, with proficiency in German and Russian.
