Irina Surzhik
Irina Surzhik is a Belarusian engineer with over 15 years of experience at OAO 'Peleng', a leading project design enterprise in the optoelectronic industry. She studied at the Belarusian National Technical University and has held the position of first-category design engineer in the scientific and design department known as 'the twenties'. Surzhik has recently been in the news due to her arrest during a crackdown on employees at 'Peleng', facing serious charges related to 'calls for harm to Belarus'. Her trial is set to begin on March 12, 2025, in the Minsk City Court.
